Delete my account

To delete your account and data please follow these steps.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Open the User Profile Modal
    • Look for your user avatar (usually a circular profile picture or your initials) in the navigation bar or dashboard of the application.
    • Click the avatar to open the dropdown menu.
    • Select "Manage account" (or a similar link like "Profile"). This opens the Clerk User Profile modal overlay.
  2. Navigate to Security Settings
    • In the modal window that appears, look at the sidebar or tab menu.
    • Click on the Security tab. (In some versions, this might be at the very bottom of the "Account" tab, but "Security" is the standard location for this action).
  3. Locate the "Delete Account" Section
    • Scroll to the very bottom of the Security page.
    • You should see a section labeled "Delete account" (usually highlighted in red or utilizing danger-zone styling).
  4. Initiate Deletion
    • Click the Delete account button.
  5. Confirm Deletion
    • A confirmation screen will appear warning you that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
    • Type "Delete account" (or the specific confirmation phrase requested by the prompt) into the input field to confirm you understand the consequences.
    • Click the final Delete account confirmation button.

Your session will immediately end, you will be logged out, and your account data will be permanently removed from the system.
